GRUR's Annual Meeting 2008

The next Annual Meeting of GRUR - the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (Deutsche Vereinigung fur Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht e.V.) will take place in Stuttgart from May 21-23, 2008 with various talks and podium discussions.
Usually attracting an average of 700 participants every year, simultaneous translation from German to English and vice versa will be provided at this years' Meeting for the first time. Besides several international speakers and panellists such as Sir Robin Jacob, Rt. Hon. Lord Justice of Appeal at the Court of Appeal in London, Rudolf Moegele, Director Agriculture and Rural Development DG at the European Commission, João Miranda de Sousa, Director General Affairs and Relations Department at OHIM and JUDr. Zuzana Slovàkà, Head of Law Section of the Czech Industrial Property Office in Prague – to name but a few - will be holding speeches on relevant IP matters. Leading German IP experts and practitioners will be represented amongst the panellists and guests too.
