Hearing: An open attendance before a hearing officer at the IPO and is normally open to the public.
Hearing Officer: An official of the IPO responsible for conducting hearings and making decisions on proceedings pending before the UK-IPO.
Honest concurrent use: An unregistered trade mark which would otherwise conflict with earlier trade marks and earlier rights but has been used concurrently with those earlier trade marks and rights. In certain circumstances, such unregistered trade marks may be registered.
