The next Open Meeting of the Institute will take place on 25th March, commencing at 4.40 pm and will include two speakers talking about how the Institute moves forward after 75 years of existence:

  • Michael Heap, Chairman of IPREG, will talk about the latest developments regarding the introduction of the IP Regulation Board and the implications for the trade mark profession.
  • Keven Bader, Chief Executive of ITMA, will speak on how he sees the Institute responding to the demands of regulation and will introduce proposals for streamlining the work of the Institute’s committees.

As usual at the Open Meeting, there will also be an opportunity for members to raise any issues, voice opinions and to question Officers of the Institute on any matters.

Immediately following the Open Meeting, at 5.30 pm in the Palm Court there will be a welcome reception and buffet dinner. Entrance is by ticket only. Each registered delegate will be entitled to one ticket covering both the reception and buffet which they will receive in their conference packs. Additional tickets will be available at a cost of £41.10 per person (inc VAT) for the reception only and £80.27 (inc VAT) for both the reception and buffet.  More details can be found here www.itma.org.uk/events
