IPReg launch consultation on Practice Fees

28 May, 2009

The Intellectual Property Regulation Board (IPReg) has published a consultation on Practice Fees. The consultation seeks views on the structure of a proposed fees regime in respect of Patent Attorneys, Trade Mark Attorneys and bodies which may wish to be entered on the registers of Patent Attorneys and Trade Mark Attorneys and therefore regulated by IPReg. The consultation can be viewed below, or alternatively you can find it on the IPReg website.

The newly formed IPReg committee (a committee set up to consider consultations from IPReg and the Legal Services Board) will be formulating a response to these consultations and would welcome any thoughts that ITMA members and Registrants may have. Please send your comments to the chair of the IPReg committee, Kate O’Rourke , by 12 June 2009 or alternatively, you can respond to IPReg individually, details on the IPReg website.
