LSB Consultation on Order under Section 69(1) of the Legal Services Act

The Legal Services Board (LSB) has published a consultation on an Order to be made under section 69(1) of the Legal Services Act 2007 in relation to the scope of regulation by the Institute. The consultation can be viewed here, or alternatively via the LSB website ( www.legalservicesboard.org.uk ).
The IPReg committee (a committee set up to consider consultations from IPReg and the Legal Services Board) will be formulating a response to this consultation and would welcome any thoughts that ITMA members and Registrants may have. Please send your comments to the chair of the IPReg committee, Kate O’Rourke or to the ITMA Office, by 4 September 2009.
