Hallmark IP was founded as a not for profit members’ organization in 1886 under the name of Trade Mark Owners Association ("TMOA"). Its objective was to provide cost effective trade mark registration services to its members - companies like Bass, Blue Circle, Heinz and Nestle - typically multinational companies with large international brand portfolios

As part of the transition from a not for profit members’ organisation to an independent commercial business our name was changed from TMOA to Hallmark IP in April 2003. We are proud that many of TMOA’s original member clients continue to use Hallmark IP for brand protection services.
