Company Profile

The firm was founded in 1937 by the first Mr Richard Jenkins as a one-man practice which sought to distinguish itself by the excellence of the service it provided. Over the intervening decades the firm has expanded to comprise more than 80 people including thirteen partners but seeks to maintain the same principles of professional service for the full range of intellectual property.

In our trade mark practice we have nine European trade mark attorneys, three assistants, and a support team which maintains a comprehensive in-house trade mark management system for progressing all our cases and also enabling clients to receive reports tailored to their portfolio requirements.

Our UK client base has enabled our firm to establish active links with trade mark attorneys throughout the world. Our overseas filing programmes can cover as many as 120 countries. Our International client base has enabled us to build up our practice in Community Trade Marks at OHIM in Alicante. On 2 nd January 1996, we were represented at OHIM when the first CTM applications were filed, and we opened our Alicante Office. Since then, we have become one of the most prolific filers of CTM applications on behalf of our clients and therefore have considerable expertise in all aspects of CTM practice.
